I want to update everyone about what’s going on at Lori’s Lovelies.

I’ve been receiving new shipments once every 7 to 10 days – so check the website often.  There are changes to the site daily, so if you see your size, you should probably purchase it because it may not be there when you come back!

Sally, one of our new customers, has shown me a new color combination that I absolutely adore – gray and yellow!  Charcoal (a dark gray) and dark yellow really pops.  Baby yellow and silver (a light gray) is so pretty together.  I have added these pieces to my personal wardrobe and have received many compliments.

I have had several women contact me about carrying plus sized Match Point linen.  I have started with “Lori’s favorite shirt”, and I plan on ordering more soon

One question I get asked quite often is how to care for Match Point linen. People are very surprised to hear that I don’t dry clean or iron. I’m sure those options are there for people that want a crisp and starched look. There is nothing wrong ironing and dry cleaning, but I take a more relaxed approach.

Linen doesn’t have to be complicated. I am a big fan of air drying. After a load has been washed using the delicates cycle, I load everything into the dryer. After about ten minutes, I remove one piece, restart the dryer, and hang and smooth out wrinkles. I repeat this process until the dryer is empty.

If I’m feeling too rumpled, I have a travel-sized wrinkle release spray in my purse. I rarely use it though.

New styles and colors have arrived!

In Texas, spring is definitely here.  The weather has been gorgeous, and I’m getting spring fever!

For me, the changing of the seasons means new clothes, and spring is my favorite time of year to shop.  During spring, I’m more attracted to lighter colors and feminine styles. When you look through my inventory, you have probably noticed that I love ruffles and pintucking.

I’m so excited! The new colors are much prettier in person. The swatches don’t do them justice. I love love the off white and taupe. I also ordered some items in sage – why haven’t I ordered it before?

I also got new styles for pants: the ruffle cropped and the cha cha cropped.

I took some pictures of the new Match Point showroom and got some swatches of the new linen colors – off-white, taupe, apricot, and shamrock. I love the off-white and taupe. Apricot looks like a muted coral. Shamrock! Wow, it’s a true green.

Over the next few weeks shipments will begin to arrive. Where am I going to find a place to put everything!?

I ordered some of my favorite styles, and some new styles as well. Three styles new to Lori’s Lovelies are the cropped ruffle pants, longer wide leg pants, and cropped cha cha pants.

As for tops, there is a new tunic with pockets and a cardigan-like shirt with ruffles that ties in the front. And more LT10Vs – which y’all know is my very favorite shirt. I got lots of colors- so you are going to have a good time choosing your favorites!
